THE SANHEDRIN TRAIL

The IAA in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage of the State of Israel, the Chemed organization, Tzionei Derech, and the Municipality of Tiberias, has launched a very promising new project that is close to our hearts. The Sanhedrin Trail project that will run for about 45km - from Tiberias to Beit Shearim has begun. With student volunteers who will learn the archaeology, geography, and history of the Galilee region, this is a pioneering venture that is both educational, inspirational and fun. Foundation Stone is thrilled to hear that this initiative is now under way - and perhaps may have helped in some small way to inspireMore about this exciting initiative will follow soon.

LANDMINDS SPECIAL VIDEO PODCAST - MARCH 2017

It's March and if you've never been to a Festschrift then this one's for you! After a long career in epigraphy, Prof. Chris Rollston organized a Festschrift in honor of Prof. Aaron Demsky. Demsky's volume is nearing completion, but the event at Bar Ilan was a joy to behold. The podcast has both audio and video components, and is in both Hebrew and English. We hope you enjoy it - and ask you to stand by for the coming March podcast - it should be available later next week.

NOTES FROM OUR CO-DIRECTORS
As winter winds down, there's all kinds of new opportunities on the horizon. In November we'll be heading to Boston for this year's major TOARCH program. And, for those a little further south on the Atlantic seaboard, we're setting the gears in motion for a TOARCH program in the spring of 2018 centered in the Silverspring/DC area. An upcoming pilot program is in development for the student edition of the DTM, and so much more. Hold on to your hats - dig season is closing in. This months LandMinds podcast was recorded on-location at Masada. We hope you'll enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording it. It's Adar - so keep on smiling!
